Who hires a move manager?  

Seniors:

Like many seniors living in the Kootenays, you may not have relatives living nearby that can help you move. You may not want to, or be able to, handle all the tasks of moving on your own. Maybe you are overwhelmed by the very idea of moving, and don’t know where to start, or, you started getting ready later than you intended – and now you realize you can’t get it all done on your own. We will take the time to understand your situation, and help at each step along the way as you transition to you new home.  

Children of Seniors:

Your parents are seniors, and it’s time for them to downsize, move into an assisted living facility or move from a rural area closer to town. If you don’t live close by, it can be hard to free up the time to help with all the details. And if your parents are moving out of the family home, it can be an emotionally trying time for the whole family.   You might consider hiring a move manager to help with some, or all of the details of your parents move. We will treat your parents with the utmost care and respect as we facilitate their move, and keep you informed at every step along the way.  

Realtors:

Often, our clients are referred by realtors. If you are a realtor in the Kootenays, you may have a senior client who could benefit from our services. Maybe they are putting off listing their home, because the task of getting ready is too overwhelming. Or, maybe it is getting close to the possession date, and the homeowner needs help to get ready in time. Please feel free to pass along our contact information to your senior clients. We’d also be happy to meet with your realty team, to talk about our services in further detail.

Busy professionals:

You’ve been transferred across the country, or across the province, and you need to start your new job next week, or next month. If you are a busy professional, you might need to move in order to advance your career, but you are too busy working to look after all the details. Let us help.
